Description: The Josie's Beach Club NYC Pride 2024 Cap was proudly conceptualized and printed with The Josie Social Club, in commemoration of those who have been and are the vanguard of Black queers in spaces of leisure. Low profile and lightweight five-panel cap. "Josie's" embroidered on the front panel and "NYC Pride 2024" embroidered on the back, above the adjustable strap. Made of 100% recycled nylon body with 100% recycled polyester mesh at either side. Proceeds from t-shirt sales will be donated to The Ali Forney Center in support of their work.

About Josie's Beach Club: About Josie's Beach Club: For the second year in a row, The Josie Social Club + Blk Mkt Vintage have designed a float for the New York City Pride Parade this June in celebration and commemoration of those who have been and are the vanguard of Black queers in spaces of leisure. Inspired by the iconic and historically Black and Queer Riis Beach, we're making an offering to the tradition of Black Queer Women & Femmes who recognized the importance of ease & relaxation. As we build on our tradition of curating spaces that center and honor Black queer women and femmes we invite all those who recognize the importance of doing so to historically take up space at the New York City Pride Parade for tens of thousands to experience! Proceeds are being donated to the Ali Forney Center. About NYC Pride: The New York City Pride march is the annual culmination of pride week in NYC and more broadly, a commemoration of pride month, every June. The march/parade commemorates the stonewall riots of 1969, during which thirteen people were arrested after a police raid at stonewall inn in Greenwich village. Exactly one year later, on June 28th, 1970, the first Gay Pride March was held by the Christian Street Liberation Day Committee in New York City. This was the first dedicated event to commemorate the Stonewall Riots and today, the legacy continues with cultural, political and family-centered events to support New York City’s LGBTQ+ community and bolster its rich legacy. According to NYC Pride, roughly 2 to 3 million people attend the NYC Pride March annually.

All sales are final and returns are not accepted, except in the case of extreme misrepresentations or oversights on the part of our team.
